Celtic Osteopathic Services (COS) was founded by Lisa Jones and Louise Prosser, both of whom have a Master’s Degree in Osteopathy, both are registered with the British Medical Acupuncture Society, and are qualified to treat a wide variety of conditions.
Lisa Jones M.Ost.
Lisa is a fully qualified registered osteopath and medical acupuncturist. Lisa graduated from Swansea University where she was awarded a Masters Degree in Osteopathy. Lisa is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and is an associate of the world famous Southerland Cranial college (SCCO) ,where she studied Cranial osteopathy, and is member of The British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS).
Lisa treats all kinds of musculo-skeletal problems including back pain, arthritis, frozen shoulder, neuralgia and sports injuries. Lisa intends to carry out post graduate training in visceral osteopathy, whilst developing her knowledge and understanding of the effects of osteopathy and acupuncture on chronic pain.
Before studying osteopathy Lisa studied at Neath Port Talbot College where she achieved her level 3 and level 4 in Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation, having had the opportunity to work with elite sports including rugby, football, equestrian and motocross.
Louise Prosser M.Ost.
Louise is a fully qualified registered osteopath and medical acupuncturist. Louise graduated from Swansea University where she was awarded a Master’s degree in Osteopathy and is a cranial & paediatric osteopath having studies at the Sotherland Cranial college (SCCO). Louise is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS).
Louise treats all kinds of musculo-skeletal problems including lower back pain, joint pain, sciatica and headaches. Louise intends to further her understanding of the treatment of expectant mothers, babies, children and those with special needs.
Before studying osteopathy Louise worked as a beauty and holistic therapist, then went on to qualify as a level 4 Sports Therapist. Louise has worked for a Division 1 rugby team and the Boys Club of Wales Under 16’s rugby team.
It is with sad regret that Louise has left Celtic Osteopathy to pursue a successful career in Paediatric Osteopathy in Cardiff and Newport. However her expertise in Paediatric Osteopathy will continue to be available at Celtic Osteopathy upon request.
